1.- Our company, MISATE INVERSIONES SAC, promotes the values established in our identity, based on absolute respect for all its members, as well as adherence to rules and laws as a fundamental requirement for business development.
All employees involved in the various activities of our organization are committed to the proper functioning of the company, safeguarding its reputation and future development.
Our Code establishes basic and fundamental principles that are complemented by the laws and legal regulations of our country.
All of us, starting with the person holding the highest position, have the responsibility to faithfully follow and uphold this code.
The company management is always open to listening to employees’ concerns, seeking the appropriate solutions so that the code can be better adhered to, resulting in the improved functioning of our company.
All employees involved in our activities work with respect for the environment and for people, without discrimination based on beliefs, race, socioeconomic status or sexual orientation. Likewise, our main objective is to achieve excellence in all our activities.
We are responsible and take care of our relationships with others, as we value maintaining long-lasting ties with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and collaborators.
2.- ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE OF CONDUCT
The implementation of this code allows us to promote good business practices and ensure compliance with our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments. That is why we have adopted a CSR-aligned policy: our company prioritizes hiring local community members, provides continuous training for our employees, and upholds certifications and best business practices.
3.- OUR COMMITMENTS
3.1.- Respect for Human Rights
- We are committed to providing compensation and work schedules in accordance with the labor laws of our country, meaning our employees receive all social benefits and wages that allow them to live adequately and fairly.
- We show respect for others, treating everyone kindly and courteously. People of all ages, beliefs, ethnicities and sexual orientations are always welcome. Within the company, everyone has equal opportunities.
- We do not allow child labor in any of our activities or those of our suppliers.
3.2.- Labor Practices
Our commitment is to provide our employees with a pleasant, healthy and safe work environment, where all safety regulations are followed and necessary precautions are taken to protect both our own physical well-being and that of our employees.
We responsibly report accidents or unsafe conditions to the direct supervisor of the area involved. Physical or psychological abuse is strictly prohibited in our work environment. Employees are trained in safe practices and are provided with appropriate clothing and protective equipment. First aid kits are available, and prompt medical attention is given when needed.
Our facilities are equipped with proper lighting, ventilation and temperature.
3.3.- Environment
- We work to reduce environmental impact and maintain a clean and healthy environment, complying with environmental laws and regulations.
- For this reason, the company requires the same from its suppliers. We do not use substances that contaminate the air, soil or water.
- We have implemented waste collection containers and a designated area for storing materials for recycling.
- We use our water resources responsibly by monitoring the amount of water used in our production process and reporting our monthly consumption to the ANA (National Water Authority).
We are committed to energy savings and the use of renewable energy. Our facilities are powered by solar energy (solar panels) for our entire drip irrigation and fertigation system, as well as for all our installations. In this way, we actively contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and ecology.
3.4.- Fair Operating Practices
In our company, we understand that our responsibilities are subject to the requirements of all parties involved in our activities, including clients, consumers, business partners and authorities.
Based on the above, MISATE INVERSIONES SAC has a stance on the following matters.
- Anti-corruption
None of our employees should engage in or promote dishonest behavior involving acts of corruption.
These types of actions are prohibited in any business relationship, whether directly or through third parties, with public officials or private sector representatives.
Such corrupt acts will be considered as such when a person or group of people promise, offer or receive any form of bribe or undue benefit to favor themselves or a third party, causing harm to the company.
- Conflict of Interests
Our employees are prohibited from:
- Obtaining any personal benefit, or benefit for a third party, through offering, giving or accepting any type of gift, commission or incentive.
- No personal interest of company staff should interfere with the interests of the organization.
- Any external activity that interferes with or hinders the objective performance of our business activities. If a conflict of interest arises, a solution must be sought in accordance with the company’s principles.
- Gifts and Entertainment
At MISATE INVERSIONES SAC, it is prohibited to offer or give gifts or entertainment to public officials, as well as to clients, business partners and suppliers, with the intention of influencing their decisions. This includes receiving cash, and when applicable, those responsible will be sanctioned.
- Confidentiality of Information
All our employees are obliged not to disclose company information to third parties unless authorized by their supervisor or required by law.
We are committed to protecting the company’s intellectual property, including trademarks, processes and general information systems.
Employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement upon joining the company, which will be included in their personal file.
- Compliance with Legislation
We respect laws and international agreements, integrating our entire value chain into this commitment.
The company competes in the markets fairly and transparently, in accordance with the current legislation of each country where it operates, and promotes free competition in the benefit of the consumers.
The company only engages in business relationships with those who comply with tax and labor legislation.

3.6.- Responsibility in the Supply Chain
We engage in long-term relationships with our suppliers, selecting and maintaining business relationships only with those who share our standards of conduct. We work exclusively with suppliers who sell products with certifications and who support the implementation of good agricultural practices.
By adhering to the rules established in our Code of Conduct, we promote CSR principles throughout our entire supply chain.

Our company’s management actively participates, together with SENASA technicians, in training groups of farmers to teach them how to apply good agricultural practices. This includes encouraging them to carry out cultural tasks, keep fields clean, and training them to prepare traps using dry yeast tablets for fruit fly control.
3.7.- Impact on Local Communities
Our company maintains an active relationship within the community.
We respect the rights of local communities and actively contribute to their development. For example, we do so in the following ways:
Company management visits the fields managed by community members monthly. During these visits, they provide guidance for ecological and environmentally responsible practices. They also assist them in obtaining their SENASA certification for each agricultural campaign and act as a liaison so that community farmers can return empty product containers to the organization CAMPO LÍMPIO, which then issues the corresponding certificate.
3.8.- Responsible Governance
We are committed to taking comprehensive responsibility.
This Code of Conduct is of utmost importance, but we contribute even further to create a positive impact on society.
